Settings:
GeneralTo access this screen: Open the ShipRush System Tray menu and select Settings | Shipping Settings, then select ShipRush Settings, then select your shipper account on the left. Or: Select Settings from the main ShipRush screen.
General shipper account information is displayed here. This is also where additional Profiles can be added.
Profiles allow you to print different FROM information on the shipping label. For example, if drop-shipping on behalf of several clients, add profiles to print the appropriate company name in the FROM portion of the shipping label. All these profiles are created under the shipping account, the only thing that changes is the FROM information on the shipping label.
To add a Profile, press the Add Profile button, then complete the information. Close Settings, and the new Profile will be listed in the list of From addresses.
The Profile information is the From address for the shipment, and will print on the shipping label in the From area.
Note: The From
address portion should accurately reflect the address the shipment physically
originates from. This
is important in the event of undeliverable shipments and other exceptions.
Rate Code / My.UPS ID (UPS Basic only): To enable ShipRush to display UPS Account Based Rates (aka ABR or "negotiated rates"), UPS must first enable your UPS Rate Code / My UPS ID in the UPS system. Email this code to your UPS account representative and request that UPS enable ABR/negotiated rate display for your account. (If you do not have a UPS account executive, please call 1-800-PICK-UPS and ask for your sales representative.)
Note that if
ShipRush is reinstalled, or if the UPS account is deleted in ShipRush
and the wizard is re-run, the UPS Rate Code will change and it is necessary
to re-request that UPS enable negotiated rate display for the new Rate
Code.
Unfortunately,
ShipRush customer service cannot help enable the Rate Code. Only UPS can
enable this. UPS enables ShipRush for ABR the same way enabling WorldShip:
1. Go to RS.com
2. Go to Tools (link above link for UPS WorldShip)
3. Plug in rate code.
If prompted for Account Type: Choose Daily Pickup if a UPS driver stops at your establishment daily and/or you pay a UPS weekly service charge.
Choose On Demand/Occasional if you have a UPS account and drop off packages (in a drop box, at a UPS Store or other location) or schedule occasional pick ups.
