Connector
Configuration: ACT! / 2006 / 2007First, check the settings in the General tab. For use with ACT!, make sure the following options are checked in the General tab:
Check 'Advanced Job Notes Processing' (should be checked by default)

Here is what the General tab should look like:

Switch to the ACT! tab. Here, configure the database connector with the needed settings to connect to ACT! Select the PAD file that connects to your production ACT! database and enter a username and password to log into ACT!.
Note: The username you use here must have ADMIN rights
within ACT!. You can use the existing ACT! administrator account, but
if you change the password for this account in ACT! be sure to change
it in OmniRush as well! It can be easier to create a new user, named OMNIRUSH
and give this user both a password and ADMIN rights, but this will then
consume an ACT! user license. Whichever 'admin' equivalent ACT! login
name you use, enter it (and the password) in the OmniRush screen below.
Then select “Install Z-Firm Plugin”.

Merge codes connection string: To use Alias based merge codes, this setting is required. This is the connection string that OmniRush will use to execute queries for alias based merge codes. There are two paths to the ACT! database:
Via the ACT! OLEDB provider. This is available on all ACT! systems, and provides limited access to the ACT! database
Direct to the SQL instance. This is the preferred path, as it gives full access to the data and lets you unlock the power of ACT!
Sage typically does not provide the password to for direct
SQL access. This has been available to Premium users for an extra fee.
Contact your ACC or the ACT! sales department for details.
When done, select Insert. Then Close this screen and start the module by right clicking on it and selecting Start.
